On January 22nd at the Annual meeting of the Nassau County Junior Firefighters Association two guest speakers attended to observe our Association because of its success. Rachel Buczynski from the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) and Beth Bennett from the Fire Association of the State of New York (FASNY) spoke about the importance of our organization. Both stated that there was not another Association like ours anywhere. They both have been following our activities over the last few years and were very impressed with its success and are looking forward to attending our annual training in the fall. They are looking to bring the news of the Association across NYS and also nationally.
